On completion of alignment with Invisalign® or fixed braces, it is vital to wear a retainer to ensure teeth stay in their new position and prevent relapse to their pre-treatment state.

Fixed wire retainers are glued to the back of your teeth, usually from canine to canine. These wires are permanent and are the gold standard alongside removable retainers to hold the back teeth in place.

Removable retainers fit over your teeth and are usually worn at night whilst you sleep.

Retainers must be worn consistently as recommended by your dentist or orthodontist to prevent movement.

If you lose or break your retainer, it is important you let us know so we can help repair or remake it before it’s too late.
